PLEASE NOTE: There are no spectators allowed at Grassroots sessions in order to keep occupancy down.
Over the years, LVBA has been the only baseball academy in the Lehigh Valley to create programs for the “baseball- only” athlete to train year-round. We have always encouraged our multi-sport athletes to continue to enjoy and compete in all the sports they love, while also making sure that baseball-only athletes have a place to train year-round.
After many inquiries, LVBA Owner & Director Dylan Dando, has developed a year-round program for young athletes who choose to play baseball only, and/or want to make a year-round commitment to baseball.
What LVBA Grassroots Offers
Fundamental training in all aspects of baseball. This training will be taught by instructors who have played and coached at the highest levels of baseball.
These fundamentals will include but are not limited to:

Hitting

Throw training

Swing training

Running

Infield play

Outfield play

Base running

Situational baseball
The program will also include use of LVBA’s 50,000 square foot indoor/outdoor facility.
The LVBA Grassroots program is the first of its kind. We acknowledge that the kids who grow up in a baseball environment and learn the game at an earlier age have a distinct advantage over other players. This program will give everyone who wants the opportunity to “Grow up in baseball,” the ability to do so. There are very few kids who have the luxury of being raised by a baseball professional. Grassroots will offer that opportunity to all kids who see themselves as baseball players for life.
Space will be limited to 20 players per age group.
LVBA Grassroots Baseball Schedule
7u, 8u and 9u

Training takes place in November, December, January, February & March - indoors at LVBA 2 days per week, 1½ hours per session

Players will have off April, May, & June to play in their local little leagues

Players will also have the ability to add private lessons for training, for an additional cost.
Time Slots
7u – 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and 11 am to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday
8u – 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and 12:30 pm to 2 p.m. on Saturday
9u – 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and 12:30 to 2 p.m. on Sunday
(Please note that if a time slot does not work with your schedule, players may slide into another timeslot. )

This schedule will allow your child the maximum amount of offensive and defensive reps they need to be properly evaluated. LVBA instructors will then be able to the opportunity to build players properly from the ground up.
Age qualifications
9u kid cannot turn 10 before May 1, 2024
8u kid cannot turn 9 before May 1, 2024.
7u kid cannot turn 8 before May 1, 2024.

$195 a month
Special Discounts:
If the payment for all 5 months is made by October 1, the price is $695 (savings of $255).
If the payment for all 5 months is made by October 21, the price is $745 (savings of $205).
If the payment for all 5 months is made before your first session, the price is $795 (savings of $155).
